Weekend

Lucy's family get-together went off nicely. Still can't remember all the players but doesn't seem to matter. Good, down-to-earth people that welcome even an outsider like me. The weather was just gorgeous, so we all sat out on the terrace of Dorothy's apt. building, and chatted from 1:00 till I excused myself to come home and take my nap at about 4:00.

I woke up well-rested this morning at 5:30, read my paper, started the crossword, had coffee and cigarettes and now I'm ready to lay down for an hour before getting ready for the day.
