Saturday Night

I have been busy working since my last post. Things have picked up a lot, thank God.

A friend of mine called about a week ago and asked if I'd go to Las Vegas with her using her comps at Harrah's. I hesitated over night and then decided "what the heck", go for it. We get free room, meals and $200 off our airline tickets, which she is splitting with me. We are leaving March 5 at 12:30PM and returning March 8 at 11:00PM. A short trip but will be good to get away on the cheap again and that is enough gambling time. I have also called my nephew, Paul, who is stationed at Nellis AFB and I'll be going to see him while there. And if Shawn is in town, I hope to see him also.

Mike has left again to go "south" for a few months, so things are really quiet around the old household. But I can park close to the house for now, a big plus in this cold weather.
