Monday....

Reba called and asked me to come for the painting estimate at 3:30 today so that left a lot of time to fill until then. I showered, watched TV, washed dishes and still had hours to kill. So I dug into my closet.........tried on all my jeans and stacked the ones that I'll never wear because of various size misfits. Also went thru summer tops, capris and some suits. I have decided to get rid of a whole bunch of these "misfits" by deluging a church thrift shop in Chantilly tomorrow. They will be overwhelmed, I'm sure, but I hope they take them all.

Before I started this cleansing of the closet, I called Ashly to see if she would like to meet me for dinner. She jumped at the chance (she is a growing teenager)and we went to Sweetwaters' in Sterling and had a good 1 1/2 hour meal and good chatting. I am going to miss her a lot when she goes to college in the fall. She is my buddy.
