Something's Got To Give

Hung paper yesterday and have only a few pains today. The more days I work the less I ache but do I really want to work a lot? Proobably not.

All heck has broken loose, as usual, when I am planning a trip.

Next 3 days scheduled for papering.

Off Sunday for Easter.

Monday thru Wednesday painting and papering a bedroom.

Now Vicki has sent a message that she could use me to sit with Dad next week.

Felicia's softball games next Friday in Shippensburg, PA.

Then Monday I leave for Cancun till Friday.

Somethings got to give.............

Cool Weekend

Watched another good movie: "The Hangover". It was hilarious.

This weekend I did a good deed. Rheba cleared her closet and I picked up 2 VERY LARGE BAGS of clothes from her, some never worn, and took them to Nancy, who desperately needs things. They were both thrilled, so I feel I've accomplished something other than sitting on my butt.

More movies

I have continued my obsession with 2 more movies. Totally different than the Sci-fi fantasy.

"Hachi: A Dog's Tale", which was a real tear-jerker, as most animal movies are and very good.

"Have You Heard About the Morgan's", which was okay, predictable and slow.

Spring at Last...

And here I am frittering away the 70 degree temps and bright sunshine by organizing my closet. ( It is a 10 X 10 room which has clothes and storage. ) I had to take almost everything out to remove the remaining carpet under some of the shelf units, put down some tile and replace everything. Quite an undertaking!!! All I have left to do is sort through papers, which I am positive will not happen today.

Time for a nap and then a walk in the woods.

Spring Fever?

As I read blogs and e-mails from others, I find I am not alone in feeling "down and blue" these days. One would think with the "white stuff" gone, the sun shining and temps going up, that I would not be so depressed. Can only assume that it is Spring Fever. Sure hope it lets up soon!!!

Have lots to look forward to but it doesn't seem to help.

March so far......

So far this month I have hung a border in a bathroom in Haymarket, stripped a b---h of a kitchen in Reston that took 2 days and about killed me, hung 1 wall of paper in Woodbridge and went on small job in Great Falls that the woman decided not to have the paper hung that she had bought (she's ordering other paper).

Went to a funeral in Leesburg of an old Bridge buddie, Carl Garrison on the 5th.

Met Ashly on the 7th to shop and eat and then continued up to my sisters' to help with my dad till Tuesday night. Paul was home on break so things were crowded and hectic.

Yesterday Susie picked me up to go to Blue Ridge Seafood in Gainsville and make a quick stop (right?) at Ross.

It has been rainy and chilly for at least 3 days now but I'm thankful it's NOT WHITE outside anymore. Really, really, really tired of snow this year.

Movies

I'm noticing a pattern to my interests in movies.........

In 3 days I've watched:

"Time Travelers' Wife"

"The Box"

"2012"

Now I'm planning on getting "Surrogates"

All of these tend towards the scientific-fantasy. Guess that's where my thoughts are now with the time change and Spring around the corner. I can only hope and pray it's a good summer.
