SNOW

Well, we got lots and lots of snow and it's still coming down, slowly now although it has been snowing since last night. It is supposed to stop sometime early tomorrow. There is more than 24 inches on patio table now. If the umbrella hadn't broken with the last snow, it would have this time. Putting down the umbrella will be on next years' to-do list when snow is predicted.

I went out to shovel this morning at 9:00 and it was above the bottom of the storm door. Spent an hour shoveling the walk and clearing off the truck. Then about 2:30 I looked out front and it looked like I had never shoveled so I got dressed and reshoveled. And now at 11:00 at night it really looks like I never touched the front. Guess I'll start the whole process again in the morning.

My knees and back are killing me. Just took more Tylenol Extra Strength so I'll be able to sleep tonight. Sure wish my body was a little younger about now. But guess I'm doing okay for my age.

White Christmas ???

Well, they are predicting a huge snow event tonight, tomorrow and early Sunday. We will see. Hasn't started yet but everything is cancelled for tomorrow already.

I have all that I need including cigarettes, milk and toilet paper. Also bought a new ice scraper and a bag of Ice Melt. So, BRING IT ON.

Will have plenty of time tomorrow for updates.

NO ICE

They had been predicting a pretty severe ice storm last night and today, so I planned on staying inside all day today. Wrong again!!!! Just lots of delicious sounding rain and warmer temps. Supposed to get into 50's today. Probably a good day to do more Christmas shopping and everyone else will do the same. We are getting uncomfortably close to the big event.

Either I need to buy a new keyboard or my coordination is getting way off, which is entirely possible. Have to proofread everything to take out double letters, reversed letters, double caps, etc. Probably all those crumbs and cigarette ashes in between the keys. Could be a combination of old age and debris.

Last night I watched a "chick flick" on Lifetime and addressed Christmas Cards. Love to search for the "perfect" cards each year but hate addressing them.

First Snow

These pictures are from my back yard this AM right before the wooden umbrella pole snapped in half. Oh well, I wanted a different color anyway.
Very heavy, wet snow and just beautiful but it needs to go away by tomorrow afternoon. It started this morning about 8:00 and is still coming down but doesn't seem to be accumulating any more.
