This AM I braved the 30 degree weather to go to Woodbridge to start stripping and papering a bedroom at the home of a decorator. Arrived ahead of time ready to start and she had not moved any furniture. It was all very heavy oak stuff plus a long sofa on 1 wall. She announced that she has a bad back and cannot possibly help. She said her husband would be home tomorrow to help. A lot of good that did today!!!
After removing some switch plates to determine how hard the removal was going to be, I decided it would be much better to prime over the old and then repaper. She was fine with that because it would be less expensive. One small problem-------I didn't have brushes, rollers, primer, etc. with me. Plus the furniture was still in the way.
So I said I would be back tomorrow with the proper supplies and the daughter said she would help her father to move the stuff tonight. I sure hope this happens and I can finally get started.
I came home and consoled myself and filled the hours by ordering "Mama Mia" On-demand. It's been so long since I watched a movie and this one was so lively and happy that it picked up my mood, temporarily anyway.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow!!!!
