TGIF, I guess

When you are semi-retired , one day is the same as the next.

Woke up this AM with a burst of energy, which I've been lacking lately. So I called Deb and told her I was not coming up today. I stayed home and got bunches of things done. Cut the yard (even tho it was 90 degrees), trimmed tree, 2 loads of laundry including ironing, watched "The Bucket List", etc.

Now I'm debating whether to go up early tomorrow morning or just bag the whole thing. I have only amassed 3 items to add to the yard sale and Felicia's games were cancelled due to lack of players. Hardly seems worthwhile except to get me out of the house. And there is the GAS issue. Decisions, decisions!!!!!!

June, where have you gone?????

Things I have done since my last posting........

1. Went to Sara and Ray's House Warming and Graduation Party in Hagerstown, MD. It was raining so hard I couldn't see the road but I persevered and enjoyed seeing everyone as we all crammed inside out of the rain.

2. Got estimates on having new stoop put in out front, plumbing estimate and new gutter estimate.

3. Went to Felicia's Graduation in Westminster on Friday the 6th, stayed over and took Kaleigh to basketball games in Alexandria on Saturday. Stayed over and enjoyed the Graduation Party on Sunday.

4. Called a different plumber and got repairs done. 1st estimate was far too high.

5. Met Dean, Wynne Ann, Vicki and Pap on the 11th to go to Totem Pole Theatre. Surprise!!!!! Shawn had flown in for the week and went with us, which was just great. We had dinner in Thurmont at "Cozy Restaurnat" and I headed home. The play could have been better....

6. Back to Deb's on Friday the 13th to stay with Kaleigh and the menagerie of animals for the weekend because the rest of the family was in Ocean City for Felicia's Softball Tournament.

7. Got applications filled out and turned in to Homeowner's to get approval on concrete work out front and also added application for new windows and door. Got estimate on windows and door.

8. Called a different gutter person and will be getting that done the week after the 4th of July.

In all of this running up and down the road I have managed to put a fortune into my gas tank and actually fit a lot of work days in there also. Makes me tired thinking of it all but I still had a lot of resting time too.

I'm heading back up to Deb's this Friday for yet another softball tournament, if they can gather enough players, and to help with a Yard Sale that Deb has planned.

I'm papering a kitchen on Monday and that pretty much takes care of the whole darn month.
